Are You Inspired Yet? How Face-Masks Will Be Your Favourite Accessory This Year

Wearing masks isn’t the most comfortable thing that has been introduced as a safety measure during the Covid-19 pandemic. But I’m sure by now we’ve all accepted them as a necessity. So, what if we tried to embrace mask-wearing and made it fun? Let’s take a look at how our fashion icons are doing it.

Throughout this past year, the many annual award shows in the entertainment industry had to replace their fancy venues with digital event arrangements. This meant that the attendees were able to make their appearance from the comfort of their own home; which then meant that their costumes were rather underwhelming, compared to the extravagant looks that we’re typically used to seeing on these shows.

But now that the industry is better equipped to host such large events, the 63rd Annual Grammy Awards (2021) returned to the STAPLES Center in Los Angeles, California. And the stars made sure that their red-carpet comebacks are memorable.

As the participating celebrities strolled over the red carpet and settled into their seats, it became very quickly very clear what the big, new fashion trend is this year: outfit-matching face-masks!

Take Taylor Swift in Oscar de la Renta and Harry Styles in Gucci, for example. One could almost argue that their looks would not be complete without their custom masks. These masks are much more than protections against the Coronavirus, and they are certainly more than just an accessory. They are fashion statements.

Now that our idols have shown us how glamorous and cool protective face-masks can be, it is time we try it ourselves. Let’s stop viewing masks as annoying medical safety cloths but make them our statement items instead. After a whole year of quarantining in sweats, we all deserve to give our wardrobe the edge that it’s been waiting for.

If you’re not sure where to start, go ahead and check out our 37 designs of durable and reusable face-masks. There is enough for each of your outfits, and you will be helping another person in need to feel safe and comfortable as well.

Stay safe and fashionable!
