At this point in the pandemic, we know that many Canadians are stocked up on masks. There seems to be a mask waiting in every coat pocket and dangling from every rearview mirror, but that’s not the reality for everyone.
Imagine a family of four sharing just two reusable masks among them because they can’t afford to buy enough reusable masks, or even disposable masks for themselves. It’s a true story and this goes against every shred of medical advice doctors are telling us, but going maskless isn’t an option.
That’s why we’re ramping up our partnerships with food banks across the country to donate as many masks as we can, as quickly as we can. The masks will go to families in need, but also to the frontline workers and volunteers.
As part of our strategy, we’ve expanded our line of t-shirts. Why? The t-shirt is the most comfortable, versatile and familiar piece of clothing in most peoples’ wardrobes and the more t-shirts we sell, the more masks we’ll get to the people who need them most.
Thousands of Canadians have already been vaccinated against COVID-19 and Prime Minister Justin Trudeau recently said that every Canadian who wants the shot will get one by this fall. Despite this, most medical experts agree that we’ll be wearing masks until at least the end of 2021 and GiveAMask.ca is going to be with you to the very end of this thing.
We continue to offer some of the most comfortable, durable, stylish and environmentally friendly masks on the market.
And as we enter what is hopefully the final stages of this pandemic, we are more committed than ever before to our goal of donating one mask for every product sold on our website.
Our purpose is to unite the country and help protect all Canadians against COVID-19.
